Sugar syrup for cocktails? It’s more economical making it at home than buying it.
– 2 parts sugar
– 1 part water
– 2 tsp vodka
– Heat water till a rolling boil starts.
– Add the sugar and stir it constantly.
– Once the sugar is dissolved completely, turn off the flame. Do NOT boil it for too long otherwise the syrup will thicken too much.
– Once its warm, add the vodka and stir.
– The syrup will cool and thicken. Bottle it and store in the refrigerator. Can last 6 months.
